چکیده
Background: Research has shown that acute kidney injury (AKI) a noticeable incidence in critically ill patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Patients prior renal insufficiency are particularly susceptible to severe respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), due their immune dysfunction. However, most COVID-19 do not have history of dysfunction, and few studies focused on the AKI among without chronic (CKD). In this study, we aimed investigate occurrence severely patients, particular focus those CKD history.

Acute kidney injury in critically ill cirrhotic patients: a review.
Acute kidney injury (AKI) is an important marker of morbidity and mortality in critically ill cirrhotic patients. The most common causes of AKI in cirrhotic patients include prerenal or hepatorenal syndrome (HRS). Diagnosis of AKI may be delayed by the lack of clinical, biochemical, and radiological markers with proven sensitivity and specificity in cirrhotic patients. In this review, we discus...

متن کاملFluid Overload in Critically Ill Patients with Acute Kidney Injury
Fluid overload may occur in critically ill patients as a result of aggressive resuscitation therapies. In such circumstances, persistent fluid overload must be avoided since it does not benefit the patient while it may be harmful. In the septic patient, early volume expansion seems to be beneficial. Beyond that threshold, when organ failure develops, fluid overload has been shown to be associat...

Patients with cancer represent a growing group among actual ICU admissions (up to 20 %). Due to their increased susceptibility to infectious and noninfectious complications related to the underlying cancer itself or its treatment, these patients frequently develop acute kidney injury (AKI). A wide variety of definitions for AKI are still used in the cancer literature, despite existing guideline...
